(5)Marinda Ann Durham, born March 28, 1854 Paulding Co., Ga and died Dec 16, 1930 in Paulding Co., GA. She married Jim Monroe Holland on Aug 10, 1879 in Paulding Co., GA.

(6)Thomas Jefferson Durham, born March 25, 1856 in Paulding Co., GA and died June 08, 1929 in Paulding Co., GA. He married Sallie Treadaway on March 15, 1894 in Paulding Co., GA.

(7)Sarah Adeline Durham, born 1857 in Paulding Co., GA and died June 09, 1943 in Union Co., GA. She married Martin Stateham Turner on Oct 26, 1879 in Paulding Co., GA.

(11)Mollie E. Durham, born Apr 11, 1865 Paulding Co., GA and died Jan 10, 1941 in Paulding Co., GA. She married Ephraim Oliver Finch on Jan 08, 1885 in Paulding Co., GA.

(12)George Richard Durham, born 1868 in High Shoals, Paulding Co., GA and died March 29, 1950 in ARK. He married first to Anna "Annie" Margaret Barber on Oct 11, 1888 in Paulding Co., GA. She was born 1867 in Braswell, Paulding Co., GA and died 1912 in Dekalb Co., AL and is buried at Stewart Cemetery in Dekalb Co., AL. He married second to Annie Unknown, born 1886 died 1959 and is buried next to George Richard Durham at Union Valley Cemetery in Coy, Lonoke Co., ARK.

(13)Young Durham, born 1870 in Paulding Co., GA and is said to have died as a young boy.

(14)Rhoda Frances Durham, born Jan 23, 1872 Paulding Co., GA and died Apr 29, 1924 in GA. She married James Casey Matthews on Dec 01, 1887 in Paulding Co., GA.


∼I was told that this cemetery is divided into two sections, with each section being across the road from each other in the same cemetery, and that Mariah is actually buried (and her headstone is located)across the road in the section known as "Old High Shoals".

I have also been told that she is in this cemetery and that this is the correct memorial, however I feel strongly that "Old High Shoals" is the correct cemetery, so I have placed her family history and made her family links there. Please see Mariah L. Elsberry Durham's Memorial # 8542954
