Sibbie L. Holland has a CSA pension application on line in the GA Archives under Paulding County. She gives her birth as 12 Oct 1829 in Dekalb, GA and says she married W. E. Holland in 1847. She says he enlisted in Feb. 1863 with Co, L of the 4th Ga regiment. He was captured while in GA and sent to Rock Island, Ill prison where he remained until the surrender. She gives his death as May 12, 1892 in Paulding Co. See GA pension application # 184968-00529 to read her own words.
Isabella Laviniah "Sibbie" (Elsberry) Holland is the daughter of Lindsey W. Elsberry, Sr. (Jan 05, 1788 GA - Feb 19, 1864 GA) and Elizabeth (Caldwell) Elsberry (1793 NC - 1883 GA).
She was the wife of William Edward Holland, son of Archibald Holland (1800 VA - 1868 GA) and his first wife, Elizabeth (Hagin) Holland.

Her sister, Sarah "Sally" (Elsberry) Holland (July 20, 1822 GA - May 28, 1902 GA) was the second wife of Archibald Holland (1800 VA - 1868 GA).
