The 1900 census of June 19, revealed they had been married twenty-eight years, had eight children and five still living. Ezra was born in August 1838 and Jemima was born in January 1850. The 1910 census of April 25, revealed they owned their farm free of mortgage. They had been married thirty-nine years, had nine children and five still living. Household members: Ezra Turney (71), Jamina (58) and Henry (35).

The 1920 census of March 3, revealed Ezra was a retired farmer and they were living in Friendsville, Garrett County, Maryland. Ezra and his parents were born in Pennsylvania. Household members: Ezra Turney (81) and Jemina (67).

Jemima was twenty-three when she married. Household members: Jemima Turney (78), Daniel W. DeBerry (70), Pearl DeBerry (46) and Dorothy DeBerry (15).

The 1940 census of April 14, revealed Jemima was still living with her daughter, Pearl Deberry and family in the same house as in 1935. Jemima had a forth grade education. Household members: Jeminah Turney (88), Dan W. DeBerry (79), Pearl A. DeBerry (56) and great granddaughter, Beatrice Fike (8).

Death record revealed Jemima Turney was born on January 1, 1852 in Preston County, West Virginia. Jemima was retired house worker and the widow of Ezra Turney. Jemima died of unknown causes at age 90y, 5m, 11d on June 12, 1942 at 5 a.m. in Hazelton, Preston County, West Virginia. Her parents were Christian Guther and Almyria Smith, both born in Preston County, West Virginia. Informant was George Guthrie of Brandonville, West Virginia. Burial was in Willitt Cemetery.

The Preston County Library could not find an obituary for her.

Jemima lived to age 90.
