Mr. Armstrong was seriously injured several years ago when his horse ran away throwing him from a wagon and causing injury to the spine from which he never recovered.
And it was for this injury that he was taking treatment in the hospital.
He is survived by three sons and one daughter, Eli Armstrong, contractor of the Franklin-Harman mail, is his eldest son.
