Mr.Ratcliff was born May 31,1901,at Jeriel,a son of the late James and Mary Elizabeth Bush Ratcliff. He was a retired miner. His wife,Mrs.Ollie Ora Houck Ratcliff,preceded him in death.
Surviving are six daughters,Mrs.Belva Jackson of Wenatchee, Wash, Mrs.Mary Hall of Pittsboro, Ind, Mrs. Sylvia Reese, Mrs.Eunice Thompson,and Mrs.Martha Stewart, all of Columbus, Ohio, and Miss Ruby Ratcliff at home; five sons, Willie, Hubert,Oral,James and Tommy Ratcliff,all of Route 2,Grayson;a sister, Mrs. Martha Thornbury of Route 2,Grayson; 21 grandchildren; and three great-grand-children.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Willard Christian Church. Burial will be in the Ratcliff family cemetary at Lost Creek.
