BLACKHURST_ Constance Connie (nee Mann). Connie passed away on November 18th, 2006, in the loving arms of her family to be reunited with her husband Garth.
Left to cherish her memories are her children; Brenda (Leo), Cheryl (Kirby), Dave (Donna) and Ron (Laurie), her grandchildren; Christopher (Shala), Shaylynn (Mike), Chelsea, Brandyn, Nathan, Kolby, Melissa, Chad, Wyatt, great-grandchildren; Jaydon, Christian, Lucian and Kaydence, brother Harry (Violet) of Melville, sisters Vi (Ray) of Fort Saskatchewan and Jean (Joe) of Saskatoon.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held at the Lee Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 22nd, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The celebration of Connie's life will be held on Thursday, November 23rd at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 4825 Dewdney Avenue, Regina, Sask. with Pastor Bob Leeson officiating.
Interment will be in Riverside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Connie to Sunset Extendicare, 260 Sunset Drive, Regina, Sask., S4S 2S3 which was Connie's home for the past few years, the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, #301-2550 12th Ave., Regina, Sask., S4P 3X1, or a charity of your choice. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Cousin Corinne for her love and support and to all the special staff at Sunset Extendicare. Those we love don't go away They walk beside you everyday Unseen, unheard but always near Still loved, still missed and always dear. Of you who have a Mother Cherish her with care, For you'll never know the heartache Til you see the empty chair. We love you Mom! God bless you... we will miss you.
