Bobo was a native of Utica, Clark County, IN, and was a former supervisor at the Essex Corporation. His secondary occupation was training horses, but in recent years it had become his most important. He loved training horses, and he was very good at this. For "relaxation," Bo was a member of the Clark County Casting and Conservation Club, along with his involvement with his great grandson and two great granddaughters, who were the "apple of Poppy's eye." With his family and friends, he had a wonderful sense of humor.

Survivors include his wife, W. Suzy Lewis Hall, of Jeffersonville, IN; sons Joe McGuire of Georgetown, IN, James H. "Jamie" Hall III, of Paducah, KY, and Kevin Sullivan, of Pekin, IN; daughters, Dori J. Hall, of Jeffersonville, IN; Misty J. Sullivan, of Pekin, IN, and Becki A. Hall, of Jeffersonville, IN; his father, James Howard "Tunney" Hall, Sr., of Jeffersonville, IN; brothers, Paul Edward Hall and Terry Lynn Hall, both of Jeffersonville, IN; sisters, Betty Ann Hall Shaw, of Utica, IN, and Cheryl Sue "Susie" Hall Morrow, of Jeffersonville, IN; 13 grand-children, one great grandson and two great granddaughters (mentioned above).

James Howard "Bobo" Hall, Jr. passed away on Sunday, 29 Jan 2012, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky after a bout with illness. He was 61 years young, and left this world far too many years early. Funeral services were held at the Coots Funeral Home in Jeffersonville, IN, which is very much a tradition for the Hall family over many decades.

His funeral service saw a large attendance of family and friends from many walks of life. Bo was the kind of person who made acquaintances very quickly, and was long steadfast to his friends. After the funeral, a long cortege of mourners followed the family to Utica, IN, where Bo was buried in the Hillcrest Cemetery, another long tradition with the Hall family.

In reference, some of the preceding information was gathered from his obituary that appeared in The Evening News [212 Spring Street, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130] on page 4, column 2, dated Monday, 30 January 2012.JEFFERSONVILLE - Hall, James H.
