      Will Reilly came home yesterday from Missoula to attend the funeral of his mother, Mrs. T. M. Reilly, who died night before last. Mrs. Loftus, of Staples, is also in the city. Patrick Reilly and Thomas Reilly will be unable to be present at the funeral. (Brainerd Daily Dispatch, 23 May 1903, p. 4)

      William C. Reilly, formerly manager of a wholesale candy concern in Brainerd 25 years ago, is dead in Havre, Mont., it was reported here today. He was manager of the Ryan Havre Grocery Co. in Montana.
      Mr. Reilly is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Harry O'Brien, Mrs. Frank J. Lowey, Brainerd, and Mrs. J. A. Bachelder, Sauk Centre, and one brother, M. J. Reilly, Detroit Lakes, Minn.
      The body was to be brought to Brainerd for burial. (Brainerd Daily Dispatch, 11 September 1945, p. 1)

REILLY RITES WILL BE HELD FRIDAY MORNING

      Funeral services for the late William C. Reilly of Havre, Mont., will be held in Saint Francis church on Friday morning at 8 a.m. with Father Scott officiating at the requiem high mass.
      The body will arrive in Brainerd this evening accompanied by the widow, one son, Delbert, on leave from the Naval hospital, Newport, R. I., and Michael Reilly, a brother, of Detroit Lakes.
      Friends may call at the Hoenig chapel on Thursday and Friday until funeral time.
      Old friends will be pallbearers—Frank Hall, Clyde Parker, James Nolan, George Murphy, William Hogan and Earl Koop. Burial will be in the Reilly plot in Evergreen cemetery. The deceased was reared in Brainerd.
      Mr. Reilly was in the grocery business in Missoula, Mont. and later came to Brainerd to open the first wholesale candy house in this territory located next to the present Nash-Finch building. He then became manager of the Ryan Havre Grocery wholesale firm in Montana. He was a member of the Elks lodge of Havre. (Brainerd Daily Dispatch, 12 September 1945, p. 3)
