Tulsa, April 20 - Mrs. Florida Lechner, 82 years old, Tulsa, who with her husband H.H. Lechner, settled at Oklahoma City at its opening in the last land rush of 1889, died Wednesday in a hospital here.

TULSA, April 20 Mrs. Florida Lechner, who resided at Jones in the early days of the town, died at noon today at Tulsa hospital. She had been ill five weeks but in poor health several years. She was 82 years and six months old. She will be buried at Jones near the grave of her son Harry E. (Dick) Lechner, who died two years ago at Fitzsimmons government hospital in Denver, Colorado. Funeral services will be at Cushing, in charge of the Davis funeral parlors there, but the date is delayed pending word from Mrs. Lechner's son Charles Lechner, who lives at Rialto, Calif. The rites will probably be Friday or Saturday. Besides her son Charles, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Estella M. Hedrick, whose husband Paul Hedrick is oil editor of the Tulsa World, and Mrs. Doll Erma Miller, also of Tulsa.
