STOKES, HORACE ROLAND age 86, of Adamsville, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. He was a member of Bayview Assembly of God, retired from U. S. Steel after many years of service and was a Navy Veteran of World War II.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Violet Stokes. He is survived by four daughters; 1 son; 2 brothers; 1 sister; thirteen grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Bell Forestdale Chapel with burial at Highland Memorial Gardens. Bell Funeral Home Forestdale directing.
