My Great-Aunt. After my grandmother passed away, she was like a grandmother to us. She was a great cook and a wonderful person. We all loved her. And she loved her deserts and sweet. Maybe that's how she got so sweet!

DALLASTOWN - Erma Regina Forry, 87, 159 S. Charles St., died Friday at York Hospital. She was the widow of Lester Forry.

Mrs. Forry was born in Jacobus, daughter of the late William and Susan Paulis Hoffman.

Mrs. Forry resided with a niece, Doris Mae Snyder. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion. She was a seamstress with the Standard Garment Co., of Dallastown.

Survivors include: Several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Lutheran Church. Her pastors, the Rev. Emil J. Engleman and the Rev. Dr. George E. Little, will officiate. Burial will be in Dallastown Union Cemetery.

Eberly Funeral Home Inc., 104 W. Main St., has charge of arrangements.
