Anderson Oct 12. -- The death of Mrs. Kate Graham Benedict, 43 years of age, occurred this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Anderson County hospital and followed an illness of several months. Mrs. Benedict was taken to the hospital about two weeks ago.
Mrs. Benedict was twice married, first to Oscar Dodson, who was drowned at Cherokee Shoals several years go. She is survived by her second husband, A. C. Benedict of this city, and the following sons and daughters: John Dodson, of the United States Navy; Miller Dodson of Baltimore, Md.; Misses Louise, Kathryn and Virginia Dodson, of Anderson; her mother, Mrs. T. A. Graham of Anderson, and the following sisters and brothers, Mrs. M. D. Stomaker, of Greenwood; Mrs. C. B. Farris of Newbern, N.C.; Mrs. Herman Walker of Bradenton, Fla.; John Graham of Sumter and James Graham of Montgomery, Ala.
Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed, although it is probable the services will be held tomorrow afternoon and burial following at Silver Brook cemetery.
