Anna A. Haug, of 4685 ­Oriole Ave., Columbia, PA passed away at her residence after a brief illness on February 16, 2012 at the age of 85. "Annie" was the wife of Carl Haug, with whom she would have celebrated 69 years of marriage on February 17th. She was so loved and was surrounded by her family when she died.

Anna was the daughter of the late Ephraim and Elizabeth Reigel Arndt. Preceding her in death were her siblings: Guy, Clayton, Raymond, Harry, William, Violet Markley, Susan Crumbling and Helen Arndt. She will be sadly but lovingly missed by her husband and all of her children which included: Ronald, Carla wife of the late Carl Lindenberger, Judy wife of Bill Clark, James husband of Paula (Sherick), Donna, Cathy wife of George Berdiner, Linda Sue Wieler, Sharon wife of Larry Herr and Jody wife of Robert Croft. Also surviving are 19 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Also preceding her in death were 2 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild.

Anna loved being with family and always looked forward to family gatherings. She and Carl enjoyed eating out and especially enjoyed many meals at Cactus Willie's and Park City Diner. She retired from Armstrong Carpet Plant where she was an Inspector. She loved watching the colorful birds and always made sure they had plenty to eat. Anna loved children and was a big supporter of Toys for Tots. Anna was an outstanding cook and for many years would prepare an annual family spaghetti dinner.

Funeral Services for Anna will be held at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc., 519 Walnut St., Columbia on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Rev. David Powers officiating. Interment will be in Silver Spring Cemetery. A Viewing will be held at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday evening from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial Contributions in Anna's Memory may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 505 N. Parkway, Box 3704, Memphis, TN 38103 or to Hospice of Lancaster Co., P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125 or online at www.hospiceoflancaster.org.
