Daniel Aloan, 85, a life long resident of the town Redfield, died at the home of his son Charles, at Osceola, January 14. He had been in poor health for some time. He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Aloan. He married Miss Amelia Weedmark, who died several years ago. He is survived by one daughter, Ruth, of Sherrill, N.Y., and three sons, Charles of Osceola, Clarence and Wilson, of Evans Mills, N.Y. Another son, William, died of the "flu" on a ship bound for France. Mr. Aloan was an uncle of Supervisor Wm. Aloan of Redfleld.

Funeral services were held in the Osceola church, Thursday, Rev. Charles Rowley officiating. Burial at Osceola
