Mrs. D.E. Click, 52, died this morning at a local hospital at 8:45 o'clock following several years of declining health. Mrs. Click, a resident of Woodleaf, was admitted to the hospital Tuesday night and she underwent an emergency operation yesterday.
A daughter of the late Luther C. and Nannie Gullet Kluttz, she was born in Rowan county on January 16, 1894.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Spears Alexander, Jr., Spartanburg, S.C.; Mrs. O.R. Mille, Jr. of this city; and Mrs. Jimmy H. Myers of Woodleaf; two sisters, Mrs. A.W. Watson and Mrs. J.S. Moore, and two brothers, Walter B. and Robert K. Kluttz, all of Woodleaf.
Mrs. Click was a member of Unity Presbyterian church of Woodleaf.
Funeral services will be held at Unity Presbyterian Church Saturday afternoon at three o'clock.
