Suggested edit: Limb. - Sr. Mary Limb was born July 29, 1831, in the State of Ohio, her maiden name being Mary Filkey. She was married to Wm. Thatcher April 18, 1852, and to them were born ten children, five of whom are now living - Albert, Mary E. Webber, Theadore, William and Sarah J. Stripling. Her husband, Wm. Thatcher, passed away Feb. 5, 1878, and on April 1st, 1886 she was married to Mr. Limb. She united with the Reorganized Church about 40 years ago, and remained a faithful member up to time of death which occurred March 5, 1911, at 2 p.m., at the home of her son William (note: at home of Albert) in East Independence. The funeral was held at Bro. C. D. Carson's undertaking rooms, Bro. M. H. Bond preaching the sermon, and the remains interred in Mound Grove cemetery.
