Zigrang officiating, she married Theodore Ament. The couple settled on a farm and became parents of 12 children: Rev. E. P. Ament; Veronica (Mrs. John Pins); Clara (Mrs. Frank Baum); Albert; Ben; Leo; Herman; Lester; Frederick; Josephine; Arthur; and Leonard.
