DYERSVILLE Lester Ament,87, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 1993, in his home after a long illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. Francis Xavier Basilica. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday at Kramer Funeral Home, where a Scripture service begins at 8 p.m.
Survivors include his wife, Johanna; three daughters, JoAnn Hesselmann of Tolono, Ill., Marilyn Frank of Cedar Rapids and Marie O'Brien of Keokuk; and a brother, Ernest of Bellevue.
