He was born June 6, 1920, in Lewis County, Mo., the son of Ernest Lee and Alzada DEMENT COTTRELL. On Feb. 20, 1945, he married Audrey Beryl CHILLINGFORD in Southampton, England. She died on Aug. 28, 2007.
Thomas served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1942 to 1945 in Tunisia and Central Europe. He was an employee of Harris Corp. (Gates Radio) for 26 years as an assembler. He was a member of St. John's Anglican Cathedral.
Survivors include three daughters; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister; two nieces; and one nephew.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, William COTTRELL and Adolf COTTRELL; and a sister, Alzada COTTRELL UNGER.
