--Of Alfred Wallace, son of M. T. and Mabel Gupton. Born Sept. 12, 1908; died June 27, 1910. Aged 1 year, 9 months, 15 days. He had only been sick a short time but his suffering was intense. All was done that loving hands could do but God had need of another flower in his kingdom and so called him home.
--Funeral services and burial at Leonard cemetery.
Little darling thou hast left us,
Left us, yes, forevermore.
But we hope to meet our loved one
On that bright and happy shore.
Lonely the house and sad the hours,
Since the dear one has gone,
But oh! a brighter home than ours
In heaven is now thine own.
