Mrs. John S. Knowles, 77, died at her home in the town of Greenbush this morning after a lengthy illness. She was born on Feb. 3, 1879, in the town of Greenbush, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Titel. On Feb. 12, 1901, she was married to John S. Knowles at Glenbeulah, and from that time on the couple resided in the town of Greenbush.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Frank Knowles of the town of Greenbush; four daughters, Mrs. Frank (Edna) Kuehl of Oshkosh, Mrs. Melvin (Louise) Prill of Fremont, Mrs. Earl (Minnie) Dreher of Kewaskum, and Mrs. Gerald (Verena) Campbell, of town of Plymouth; 11 grandchildren; and two brothers, Dr. Fred Titel of Oconto Falls, and Dr. Arthur Titel of Miami, Fla. Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
