Bernice was a direct descendant of John Wadleigh who left Bristol England in 1630 and settled in Saco, Maine, and of his son Robert Wadleigh who once pleaded a case before the King of England.
Bernice's mother was Belle Mina Valia, daugther of John Valia & Almina (Brown) Valia of Grafton Center, New Hampshire.
She left many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bernice also left a half-sister Dorothy, in Vermont. She now eternally rests beside her husband, son Lawrence & daughter Doris.
