Herman Froehlich, 94, of 506 E. Main Street,Plymouth,died at his home Tueday noon.
He was born 5th November, in the Town of Greenbush, son of Fred and Emily Seifert Froehlich. He attended school in the Town of Greenbush.
On 15th May, 1912, he married Amanda Jung in the Town of Russel. The couple lived and farmed in the Town of Greenbush until 1917, when Mr. Froehlich started the Froelich Feed Mill in Glenbeulah, which he operated until retiring in 1950. Mrs.Froelich died 14th March, 1953.
In February, 1955, he married Hilda Wedemeyer. She died in March, 1980.
Mr.Froehlich was a charter member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah, and served as treasurer and elder in the church. He was also active in the church choir and men's quartet of the church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Melinda Bergen of Plymouth and Mrs. William (Marie) DeZeeuw of Eugene,Oregon; one son Frederick of Appleton; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one stepson, Victor Wedemeyer of Mendota,Ill.;one step daughter, Mrs. Fred (Gloria) Wolf of Corpus Christi,Texas; and one brother Alfred of Greenbush.
He was preceded in death by one brother.
The funeral was held at the Zion Lutheran Church in Glenbeulah with burial in the Greenbush Cemetery.
