He was a member of the Appleton McDowell Male Chorus, the Appleton Kiwanis Club, the YMCA and he was active in scouting work.
He died of cancer 16th July, 1993 at his home, 1406 North Union Street, Appleton,WI.
Services were at the Faith Lutheran Church, Appleton.
