Leonard Pendleton, 93, of Johnson City, died on Monday, November 21, 2005, at the Susquehanna Nursing Center. He was predeceased by his wife, Peg Pendleton. Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Marge Pendleton, Binghamton; sister, Viva Schouten, Durham, N.C.; also several nieces and nephews; stepsons, Lawrence, Robert, and David. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Air Force; and a Mason, a member of the Johnson City Senior Citizens and the Northminster Presbyterian Church of Endwell. He was an avid bowler.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Northminster Presbyterian Church, Endwell. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Donations in his memory may be made to the Northminster Presbyterian Church. Arrangements are by the Barber Memorial Home, Inc., 428 Main Street, Johnson City.
