Rita Rose Ketchum, 67, of Caldwell, died Sunday, December 3, 1995, at home. Rita was born November 7, 1928, at Formosa, Arkansas, to Frank and Ader King. She grew up in various areas of Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. She later married Kenneth F. Ketchum and they farmed at Checotah, Oklahoma. In 1964, due to ill health they moved to Caldwell, Idaho. They went to work for the J.R. Simplot Co. in 1965 and Rita retired after 26 years due to health problems. Kenneth passed away in 1987.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Cathi and Steve Benoit; a grandson, Shane Benoit and his wife Michelle; a granddaughter, Shawna Benoit; 2 great grand-daughters, Myranda Dawn and Caitlyn LeAnn Benoit; a sister, Thelma Frazier of Checotah, Oklahoma; a brother, Earnest King of Teutopolis, Illinois; and numerous nieces and nephews.
