SUDDEN DEATH
Eugene Cary of Chicago, general manager of the German-American Insurance Co. of New York, who began his law studies in the fifties at Sheboygan under Judge David Taylor, late to the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and who at one time was judge of this county, and also city attorney of Sheboygan, fell dead at a banquet given by the officials of the world's fair to the insurance officials at the St. Louis Club in St. Louis Tuesday night. Mr. Cary's home at the time of his death was in Chicago. He is well remembered by the old citizens of this county.
Mr. Cary had just finished his address. President Francis was on his feet waiting for the applause to subside, when Mr. Cary fell to the floor unconscious. In an instant the banquet was forgotten, costly glasses and plates fell and were broken as the diners rushed to his aid.
Mrs. Frank Cary and children, Louis and Clara, left Thursday for their home in Chicago to attend the funeral of their uncle, Judge Eugene Cary, returning to Elmore Monday evening.
