She was born Aug. 6, 1906, to David and Mary (Howell) Bussard in Frontier County. She attend rural school in Frontier County.
On Nov. 28, 1923, she married Ervin N. Bailey at McCook.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Ervin on June 15, 1980; two sons; two daughters; two brothers; eight sisters; one grand-daughter and two grandsons.
Survivors include her children Edward Bailey of Trenton, Annabelle Ebert of McCook, Dale Bailey and wife, Beverly of Trenton, Lola Wilke and husband, Roland of Culbertson, Melvin Bailey and wife, Donna of Arapahoe, Shirley Peters and husband, Byron of McCook and Twila Olson and husband, Roger of Grand Island; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are Wednesday, 2 p.m., at Carpenter Breland Funeral Home with Jerry Beckenhauer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday 9 a.m.-8 p.m., and Wednesday 9 a.m-1 p.m.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
