David O. Bussard was born in Germantown, Ohio Aug. 1, 1855 and died at his home in Frontier County, Nebraska Dec. 25, 1925. His parents were David and Amanda (Whitaker) Bussard.

He moved to Neb. when a small boy. March 13, 1878 he was married to Mary Ella Howell in York County, Nebraska and to them were born 14 children, eleven of whom besides his widow survive him. Funeral was at the Quick M.E. Church. Rev. Leon Moore conducting the service. Burial was in Quick cemetery.
