Fred was a postal carrier. Son of Harriet and HW Farnsworth. Born at Council Groves. Married Martha Van Orsdol Shaw in 1884. She died in 1922 and is also buried in Topeka Cemetery. He married again Lucille V. It is thanks to Lucille that Martha's (Fred's first wife) diary called PIONEER WOMAN was published. He has no marker in the cemetery, but is listed in the records for the Topeka Cemetery
