Morris was found by a neighbor eating out of a garbage pail as a young cat. They kept him outside, and he would always come over to our house, because he knew there were several cats inside. He started to stay overnight, and we placed a bed outside for him We fed him and he never wanted to go back home, 2 doors away. Our friendly neighbor said we could keep Morris. We allowed him indoors with all our other kitties. Morris was the comediene of all cats! One time he was shaking something in his mouth in our yard, and it was a garter snake. He let it go. He rode in another neighbor's car engine, to church one Sunday. They kept hearing meow's and didn't know where it was coming from, until they returned home. Morris climbed up a tall Poplar tree, and the branches were so thick, he could not get down. After 1 hour of roping the tree to bend it down, it snapped at the base. Morris calmly walked out like nothing happened. He did not go out that much, but always managed to get himself into big trouble when he did. Morris weighed in at 26 lbs, and was a huge grey tiger. When the family moved west, Morris had to be given away to a good home. Always think of you Morris, and miss you even more.
