Albaugh--Umpleby--married June 24, 1897, Mr. Solomon Albaugh of Kilgore, Ohio, to Miss Martha E. Umpleby of Scio, Ohio, by Rev. W. E. Arnolt.

In the 1910 census Solomon was living in Harrison County, Ohio. He was age 59 born in Ohio, his wife Martha age 49 born in Ohio.

His bituary in the Free Press Standard, Carrollton, Ohio, Thursday December, 24,1931.

Solomon Albaugh, 82, died Friday, December 18, in his home at Scio from paralysis. He was a life-long resident of Scio and vicinity. He is survived by his wife; two brothers, William and Robert, living on farms nearby, and one sister, Mrs. Caroline Kirby, of Perrysville. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon in the home by Rev. J. F. Ellis pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment was made in the Kilgore Cemetery.

Solomon Albaugh, 82, a life-long resident of Harrison County died at his home near Scio, on December 18, of Paralysis. He is survived by his wife, two brothers, William and Robert, both residing near his home, and one sister, Caroline, of Perrysville and one daughter, Mrs. R. L. Spence of Jewett.
Mr. Albaugh was born in Carroll County, and was a son of William and Catherine Albaugh. With the late Dr. Custer of Scio he represented Harrison County at the unveiling of the monument to General George A. Custer, at Monroe, Michigan, in June 1912. After short services at his home on Monday, services were held at Kilgore, conducted by Rev. J. F. Ellis, of the Scio M. E. Church, with interment in the Cemetery at that place.
