He is survived by his wife; two brothers, William and Robert, living on farms nearby, and one sister, Mrs. Caroline Kirby, of Perrysville. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon in the home by Rev. J. F. Ellis pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment was made in the Kilgore Cemetery.

With the late Dr. Custer of Scio he represented Harrison County at the unveiling of the monument to General George A. Custer, at Monroe, Michigan, in June 1912. After short services at his home on Monday, services were held at Kilgore, conducted by Rev. J. F. Ellis, of the Scio M. E. Church, with interment in the Cemetery at that place.
