local hospital. Funeral services were scheduled for 2 p. m .
Wednesday at the Kiker-Seale Funeral Chapel with the Rev.
Bentley Gwyn officiating. Burial was in Colorado City Cemetery
under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mrs. Swanson was born January 10, 1927 in Idalou, Texas. She
vas a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ She was
a longtime resident of Colorado City.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Dyann Metzger of New
York; one son, Elvin Britton of Midland; two brothers, Odis
Mahan of Oklahoma and Weldon Mahan of Lake Colorado City,
Eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren
