Funeral services for Edna Meyer, 86, of Rosenberg are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Rosenberg. Officiating the service will be the Rev. Harvey Bongers.

Burial will be in the W.O.W. Cemetery in Rosenberg.

Mrs. Meyer died Wednesday at Memorial Sowthwest Hospital in Houston.

She was a native of Fischers Store, and has been a Rosenberg resident for over 70 years. Meyer also was a charter member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Rosenberg and a life member of the American Legion Auxillary.

She is survived by one son, Walter J. Meyer of Rosenberg; a daughter, Irene Warren of Missouri City; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and four sisters, Lila Moeller of San Antonio, Alice Gerkin of Needville, Alma Gerken of Freeport and Florine Measeles of Austin.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at the Garmany & Carden Chapel in Rosenberg.

The family requests memorials be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or to the Arthritis Association.

Services were under the direction of the Garmany & Carden Funeral Directors in Rosenberg.
