Leora May Deppe

Leora May Deppe, 79, of Nampa, passed away at her home on Wednesday Oct. 3, 2001.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Smith Building). Bishop Ross Luekenga will officiate the service. Graveside rites will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell. Friends may call Sunday from noon until 8 p.m. at Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel.

Leora was born Nov. 30, 1921, in St. Anthony, to William Nephi Foster and Marian Josephine Wardell Foster.

She was an avid bowler and member of the Pathfinder bowling league, and hunted and fished with her husband, Demond.

Leora is survived and will be dearly missed by three children, Darwin Deppe of Boise, Linda Kinney of Nampa, and Janet (and Bill) Moss of Rupert; seven grandchildren, Dianne, Carole, Darla, Debra, Lee Ann, Carrie and Ronald; 21 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Irma Gardner of Boise, Lila Owens of St. Anthony; brother, Blaine Foster and his wife, Votis of Boise; sister-in-law, Melba Foster of Boise; as well as numerous other family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Demond; her parents; brothers, Loren and Deloy; and a grandson, Brian
Jensen.
