Following the stroke of paralysis he sustained about two years ago, he was incapacitated from following his usual occupation. A few months ago the house on the property owned and occupied by Mr. Bowermaster and his sister, Mrs. Coffey, was destroyed by fire as was also most of their personal effects.
He is survived by one brother, John Bowermaster, of Cleversburg, and three sisters: Mrs. Amanda Coffey, of Cleversburg; Mrs. Phoebe Ingram, of Chambersburg; and Mrs. Harry Burns of Shippensburg.
