Private funeral services for Edna Day, 82, where held Saturday, Feb. 21, at Caldwell's Chapel of the Valley with Ray Luster officiating. She died Feb. 18 in Tucson Medical Center. Bernice Stowell played the organ, and soloist Liz Tea Angle sang "In the Garden." Ray Luster offered the invocation. Steve Vukcevich presented the life story. Nayda Luster presented the remarks with Ray Luster ofering the benedicition.

Concluding services and interment followed in the Sheldon cemetery, with Ray Luster offering the dedicatory prayer.

Edna was born Nov. 8, 1904, in Carlsbad, N.M. She was the daughter of JACK BASS and DORA LARREMORE. She rode horseback to attend school in Mule Creek, N.M.

She is survived by two daughters, Gladys Vukcevich and Joni Trent, both of Safford; a son, Kenneth A. Day of Eastsound, Wash.; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

Complete arrangements were under the direction of the Caldwell Funeral Home of Safford, Arizona.
