She was a native and lifelong resident of Kirbyville.
She is survived by two daughters, Faye Varner of Richmond, Texas, Yuriand Nell Williams of Vidor, Texas, her brother, Eston Hawthorne of Groves, Texas, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
