at Kraut-Marina Funeral Home in Abbotsford for Christian Silbred, age 92, of Sparta, formerly of Dorchester. Clarence Arquette officiated at the funeral rites. Burial followed in the Dorchester, Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Skilbred died Wednesday, October 20, 1976.
Mr. Skilbred was born February 5, 1884 in Skein, Norway. He lived in the Oconomowoc area and later resided in Dorchester from 1905 to 1950. He moved to Adams, and later to Sparta, where he has lived since 1973.
His survivors include nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 1 brother.
