Peter Jorgensen, farmer residing west of Creighton, passed away Saturday morning at 5:30. Death was due to hardening of the arteries and complications of old age.

After reaching his adult years, he was married to Marie Moll [Hojen]. Four children were born, two of whom preceded their father in death. Two years following the death of his first wife, he was united in wedding to Marie Petersen. Eight children were born to this union, all of whom are living.

Mr. Jorgensen came to America with his family in 1904. He first settled in Nebraska in Wayne county and a few years later came to Knox county where he has lived until death called him.

He is also survived by four brothers, Dan, John, Chris, and Marius Jorgensen and four sisters, Mrs. James Nielsen, Mrs. Lars Larsen, Mrs. Chris Christensen and Mrs. Sorensen.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock at the house, and 1:30 at the Berthesda Danish Lutheran church in Winnetoon with pastor, Rev. Staby, in charge of the rites.
