Celia Ann Hobbs married in 1854, John Rowan Hamilton (1827-1910). Their six children were Nancy Sue (1855-1933), Elizabeth (1858-93), Henry Smith (1861-74), James Hobbs (1862-93), Charles Lee (1865-1934), and Katherine Hamilton (1870-94). Celia was a descendant of Capt. Henry Young who served in the Fifth Virginia Infantry in 1776. She was a great granddaughter of Joshua Hobbs (1742-97) who served in the Revolution and in the first Kentucky House of Representatives in 1792.
