Windber (Pa.), Dec. 4 (1911) --- Windber relatives have received word of the death of Mrs. Garret Ream, 76 years old, who until three years ago resided in Scalp Level. Mrs. Ream died some time last night at the home of a son, J. (James) F. Ream, in Quakertown, Bucks County. She is survived by her husband, one other son, Jeremiah Ream, and Frank Horner (her brother) of Elkton (should read Elton). Mrs. Ream was related to the Horner families in Windber and vicinity, and to the D. J. Custer family of this place. (Her brother Jeremiah Horner's daughter, Elizabeth, was married to Daniel Custer). The funeral will be held Wednesday, when interment will be made at Quakertown. Some relatives from Windber will probably attend.
