Services Held for A Prewett
Funeral services for Asberry Prewett, 90, were held at 2 pm in the Barry Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, Oct. 25. Interment was in Lee Memorial Park with the Rev. McHenry officiating. Barry Funeral Home was in charge.
Mr. Prewett was the son of Jehu Prewett and Mary Princess Gentry Prewett. He resided in Chickasaw county for 30 years and was a retired mill worker. At the time of his death he resided at Shearer Richardson Memorial Nursing Home. Mr. Prewett was a member of the Okolona Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, D R Prewett of Okolona; one daughter, Mrs. Louise McIntosh of Houston; and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Carr of Houlka.
