Dotty belonged to our son Bobby since she was 6 weeks old. She was an Austrailian shepard mix, and loved to romp around in their large yard. There was a German shepard in the house behind theirs. He and Dotty dug under the fence until they got together one day. A few months later, Dotty had 6 beautiful pups that were given away to good homes. Dotty had another litter the following year. The father was Shang, a shar-pei. All the cute pups looked like pure bred shar-pei's. She became our pet when Bobby passed away. Dotty was the mother of China, our dog for 14 yrs. She was intelligent, gentle and affectionate. Dotty had the most expressive eyes ever for a dog. She loved to nibble on ears of corn, so funny to see. She did many tricks that our son Bobby had the patience to teach her. One strange thing she would do is, put her front foot in her large water dish while drinking. She got along with the other animals in the household, except for our desert tortoise "Tarkus". Had to keep them separated. She passed away from kidney failure at the age of 8. We love and miss you Dotty!
