COLUMBIA - Ann Saleeby Byrd, 95, went to be with the Lord Friday, December 24, 2010. Born in Manila, Philippines, she was a daughter of the late Murad Mitry and Mary Ann Teeter Saleeby.

Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie Byrd Wilson and Terry Wilson of Solvang, Calif., Linda Byrd Law and Greg Law of Carpinteria, Calif., Cynthia Byrd Driggers and Daryl Driggers of Columbia, Beverly Driggers of Columbia; sister, Sally Saleeby Nevans of Istanbul, Turkey; five grandchildren, Jennifer Kahrs of Burbank, Calif., Elizabeth Flett of Santa Barbara, Calif., Tom Wilson of Solvang, Calif., Jeffrey Driggers of Columbia, Stephen Driggers of Columbia.

She was predeceased by her husband, Henry Parrott Byrd.

She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We love you, Mom.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Palmetto Health Richland Heart Hospital for their love and care in her last days.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rice Home, 100 Finley Road, Columbia, SC 29203.
