Sharon was born August 14, 1944, in Davenport, the daughter of Chester and Ruth F. (Leedom) Williams. She was united in marriage to Richard Bowers on March 7, 1975, in Davenport. She worked as an office manager for her husband's business, Richard A. Bowers Trustee for the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts. She loved to golf, go to the casinos and especially spend time with her granddaughters, Taylor and Kaylee. She also loved walking her three dogs, Cassie, Molly and Murphy, every day.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Dick, Eldridge; sons, Tony (Jennifer) Bowers, Eldridge, and Nick Bowers, Chicago; grandchildren, Taylor and Kaylee Bowers; stepson, Michael (Barbara) Bowers, Eldridge; stepdaughters, Cynthia Bowers, San Diego, and Lori (Robert) Hadley, Davenport; step-grandchildren, Jeff, Jim and Jamie; sisters, Debbie (Randy) Vogel, Bettendorf, and Cheryl (Michael) Starrick, Maywood, Ill.; and her stepmother, Josephine Williams, Davenport. Her parents preceded her in death.
