SAN SABA, JULY 14 - Funeral services from A. M. (Manse) Allen, 69, were held at Howell-Doran Chapel here Sunday. Rev. B. F. Beaty and Rev. W. L. White officiated. Burial was in the city cemetery.
Mr. Allen died Saturday morning in a local hospital. He had been in ill health serveral months.
He was born in Llano County and had lived in San Saba County about 40 years. He was a rancher and stock farmer. He was a member of High Valley Baptist Church.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Altie Taylor Allen, a rural school teacher; two brothers, Tom Allen of Llano and Frank Allen Sr. of San Saba; three sisters, Mrs. Josie Key and Mrs Minnie Bollinger, both of Llano, and Mrs. Donnie Cox of Antelope Gap.
