TOW NEWS
Will Allen died at his home in Lometa Tuesday evening, December 10, after a brief illness. Religious services were held in his memory at the Lometa Methodist church Wednesday morning. The body was brought to Tow Wednesday and interment was made in the Tow cemetery at 3;00 o'clock with the Rev. J. H. E. Willman officiating, assisted by the Methodist pastor of Lometa.
Ar. Allen was reared in this community. He was united in marriage to Miss Kate Hereford, and to this union no children were born. He had the esteem of all who knew him and was a man in whom every one had the most complete confidence. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Kate Allen; five brothers, Lum Allen of Paint Rock, Mansfield Allen of Chappel, Tom Allen of Llano, John Allen of Buffton, and Frank Allen of Chappel. Four sisters: Mesdames Minnie Day, Dena Cox, Ruth Maxwell and Josephine Key. All were here for the funeral service.
