Roberta "Bobbi" Johannessen, 77, of Des Moines died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Bright Kavanagh House. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Iles Funeral Homes-Grandview Park Chapel concluding with a memorial service at 7 p.m. Thursday. Cremation will follow the service.
Bobbi was born in Ottumwa, IA and lived most of her life in Des Moines. She worked as a receptionist for Iowa Health.
Bobbi is survived by two sons, Jeffrey Smith and Dennis Smith (Margie Butler); two grandchildren, Jeff (Katherine) Smith, Jr. and Andrea Ford-Smith; two great grandchildren, Miles and Austin Smith; and several siblings.
