Granetta Whitbeck Breeze, 80, of St. George, Utah, passed through the veil to be with her eternal companion Bud and beloved son Terry, on January 28, 2012. She was born on January 30, 1932 in Milford, Utah, to Willis Grant and Barbara Johnson Whitbeck. She married Roy D. (Bud) Breeze in Elko, Nevada on August 21, 1948. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake temple.

Granetta moved to Bennion in 1947. With Bud, they ran their own camper sales business for many years. Granetta loved to travel, going on several cruises and trips throughout her life. Many happy times were spent at summer cabins throughout the years. She began her rather expansive volunteer career with PTA when her son was in school. Granetta went on to work with many organizations over her years, including the Senior Games, Tuacahn, Dixie College and 5 County RSVP. She volunteered over 600 hours for several years in a row, sometimes at multiple events in a single day, earning her the 2010 Silver Bowl award for Washington County.

She is survived by her two sisters, Arleen (Clark) Morrill, and Belva (Randy) Parr; 10 loving nieces and nephews, Debbie (Val) Hacker, Staci (Tony) Arnone, Russ Morrill, Mike Morrill, Kyle Morrill, Rusty (Julie) Hart, Theresa (Robert) Johnson, Grant (Shannon) Parr, Jessica (Lee) Stoneman, Todd (Nicole) Parr; and 45 loving great nieces and nephews.

Known to her family as "Nen", she is preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Bud Breeze, loving son, Terry Breeze, and her parents, Willis and Barbara Whitbeck.

We send out love and appreciation to Granetta's extended St. George "family."
